BOX LOTS, PRIMITIVES, COLLECTIBLES, SOLDIERS, AND TOYS

BOX LOTS: These include glass, china, pottery, silver, brass, vintage clothing, primitives, ephemera, and collectibles of all kinds. Nice selection of primitives and collectibles with more to be unpacked. This session will also include a nice selection of sets of crystal, glass, china, and lamps.

SOLDIERS AND TOYS: This auction features the lifetime collection of soldiers and toys of the late Randy Smith of Zanesville Ohio. Randy also made and painted toy soldiers and replicas of early American tin toys. This collection includes hundreds of lots of parts and great toys in need of work. Early tin includes Whistler engine, large platform girl riding dog, other platform toys, horse pulling buggy, horse pulling cart, 2 horse tin express wagon, tin and iron banks, cast iron toys, tin and wood drums, wood lithographed “Columbia” side wheeler, and “Mother Goose Railroad”. Early 2 horse wooden cart, bisque head George Washington on horse, 2 horse wooden cart, English clockwork boxers on wooden base, large papier mache Gypsy lady roly-poly, early platform riding horses and early doll carriages. Hundreds of lots of soldiers. If you restore toys or soldiers, you will not want to miss this auction.

FURNITURE: 6 tin pie safe, 2 piece cherry corner cupboard, Victorian chests and washstands, Victorian high top organ, marble top parlor stands, walnut Victorian peer mirror, French style brass bed, Victorian style medallion back settee, camel back settee, 5 oak kitchen cabinets, oak curved glass china cabinets, round and square oak tables, oak 2 door bookcase, oak S roll top desk. Arts and crafts mantel and large conference table, oak and cast iron dictionary stand, mid-century dining room suite, Heywood Wakefield bamboo sunroom furniture, Ethan Allen dining room suite. Country store counter. All furniture will sell on Thursday. Many pieces will be available for gallery only bidding.

ORIENTAL RUGS: 35 handmade Persian and other Oriental rugs, room size include 10 x 13 semi antique Kirman, 9 x 12 semi antique Tabriz, 8 x 12 semi antique Kashan, 10 x 16 old Sino Persian Serapi, many other room size runners, and scatter rugs.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS: Steinway parlor grand piano circa 1900 formerly belonged to the late Sallie Jones Sexton from Bryn Du Mansion Granville, Ohio. Hohner accordion, Lotus banjo and Sygma guitar needs strings.

SLEIGH AND BICYCLES: Beautifully restored cutter sleigh with shafts, 1880’s Gormully and Jeffrey “American Challenger” 54” high wheel bicycle. Boys and girls 1972 Schwinn Collegiate bicycles in near mint condition. (Selling together.)

GLASS, CHINA, AND POTTERY: Victorian art glass, Moser glass vases, large set of Cambridge blue “Caprice”, large set of vintage Fiesta Ware, set of Royal Doulton “Pomeroy”, Set of Copeland Spode “Romney”, hand painted china, Staffordshire spaniels, Band O railroad china, 15 Royal Doulton figurines,

Llardro and other figurines. Pottery pieces include Rookwood, Nicodemus, Van Briggle, and Roseville.

DECORATIVE ARTS: 19th century embossed brass face wall clock, German mahogany shelf clock with chimes, inlaid mahogany shelf clock with chime. New Haven banjo clock. Mahogany swivel book rack with 16 volume Dickens works. Sohio Extron glass gas pump globe. Punch and Judy cast iron door stops. Set of Towle “Legoto” sterling flatware. Set of Westmoreland “John and Priscilla” sterling, other sterlingsilver. About 30 beautiful fur and leather coats including many mink. Pewter ice cream molds, tin ice cream molds and several belsnickles.

COINS, JEWELRY, AND WATCH PARTS: Carson City silver dollars, Morgan dollars, mint and proof sets, lots of silver commemorative medallions. Many lots of fine and costume jewelry including diamonds, gold and sterling silver. 3-diamond ring with 1.87 ct center diamond, Victorian, Mid-Century, Native American and contemporary pieces. A large assortment of new (with tags) store closeout items including sterling and diamond. Collection of pocket and wrist watch parts from a retired watchmaker. This is the largest collection we have ever had to offer.
