EARLY FURNITURE: Early American 9 drawer country Chippendale tall chest, cherry Empire chests, 4 drawer country chest, walnut stepback cupboard, early pine wardrobe, primitive jelly cupboard, 6 tin pie safe, spindle and arrowback benches, Hepplewhite tavern tables, decorated blanket chest, Sheraton stands and drop leaf tables, early mahogany Empire sofa.

MID-CENTURY: Heywood Wakefield blonde living room and dining room pieces, Kling maple bedroom suite, Bassett walnut dining room suite, other Mid-Century pieces.

VICTORIAN AND TURN OF THE CENTURY OAK: Walnut marble top dressers and parlor tables, drop leaf tables, Eastlake parlor set, 2-oak side by side secretary bookcases, oak hall seat, 2-door oak bookcases, oak dresser with oval wishbone mirror, claw foot library table, fancy parlor stand, Arts and Crafts desk, country store cabinets, carved oak sofa and parlor chairs, 9-piece 1920 mahogany Colonial Revival dining room suite.

 

CUSTOM AND HANDCRAFTED: Mahogany Henredon Chippendale desks, Edison Institute bombè chest, other pieces by Henredon and Hickory chair. Custom cherry 3-part dining table with 16 chairs, pads and table cloth. Several beautiful reproduction pieces from the workshops of David T. Smith Morrow, Ohio including 6 painted Windsor chairs, trestle table with curly maple top, 2-piece cherry cupboard, 2-piece curly maple cupboard, 3 door curly maple cupboard and round painted breakfast table. Rustic western bunk bed set, beautiful Sheraton tester bed by the late Ollie Armentrout of Newark, other handcrafted pieces.

 

DECORATIVE ARTS: Mahogany baby grand piano by B.K. Settergren. This piano was originally from the ball room at Indian Lake Ohio Park. It would have been used by many of the well known “Big Bands” that played there. The Troubadour Harp by Lyon & Healy, other musical instruments, large selection of sterling 41 piece Heirloom “Damask Rose”, 73 piece Dominic and Haff “Acanthus”, 37 piece Towle “Chippendale”, sterling candelabra, many pieces of hollowware and flatware, 2 large pieces 800 Victorian silver, English silver on copper tea set, slag glass lamps. Toys include Marx “Tidy Tim” windup, Lehmann peacock, Bing model T coupe, other windups, cast iron banks and fire engine. Large store display cologne bottles. Clocks include crystal regulator, banjo, wall and mantel clocks. Collection of crystals and polished rocks. Primitive advertising and country store includes thermometer, firkins, stoneware, coffee grinder, brass cash register, store display pieces, child’s push sleigh, scales, salesman sample house for insulation, glass worker parade canes, Royal Doulton collection of about 70 character jugs, 30 Beswick figurines and 20 figurines. Glass, china, Staffordshire dogs, Adams Dr. Syntax china, set of Spode “Billingsley”, over 200 pieces Russel Wright china, Orientalia, Cambridge nude stems, Singer Featherweight sewing machine, collection of O.S.U. memorabilia and trophies from the late coach Fred Taylor. Folk art carvings include masks, liturgical and animal figures. Native American includes Navajo rugs, beadwork, baskets, Santa Clara and Acoma pottery, restored buckboard by Columbus Buggy Co.

ORIENTAL RUGS: Over 60 beautiful oriental rugs many room size from area owners downsizing as well as scatter, area rugs and runners. Many are semi antique. Included are Sarouk, Tabriz, Heriz, Shiraz, Mashad, Kashan, Zanjan, Kashkaie, Bakhtiari, Mahal, Bokara, Malayer, Sarab and many other Persian rugs.

 

FINE ART: Wonderful selection artwork including oil on canvas Alice Schille American 1869 – 1955 “Early Morning (Meal Time)” circa 1905, possible 16th Century Old Masters oil on canvas man giving woman a ring. Several 19th Century oil on canvas including Charles Bullet landscape with waterfall, Paul Breem ships in harbor, possible self portrait of George Whiting Flagg, and Wilhelm Lommen canvas on board logging scene with horses. Franz Xavier Wolfle and Inge Wofle oil on board portraits of men and Hedwig Oehring portrait. Levtchistovsky and Irene Klestova oil on board “Mauve Orchids” and “Roses”. Jehudo Epstein oil on canvas portrait of seated man, several unframed Robert Boderson mixed media on paper of portraits and figures. Sculpture by Dante Morozzi bust of woman with hat and Helen Rundell egg tempera oil on board “David’s Barn”.
