Great selection of Victorian furniture including chests, dressers, washstands, beds, parlor tables, chairs, settees, and other pieces. Oak features sideboards, desks, chests, dressers, washstands, armoires, beds, china cabinets, tables, barrister bookcases, and chairs. Garden pieces include iron gates, as well as wicker. Early to mid-20th century includes bedroom and dining room suites, tall case clocks, trunks, breakfronts, and corner cupboards. Many other pieces of furniture. About 300 pieces.

FURNITURE: Beautiful Steinway mahogany 6’3” grand piano serial # 119674, walnut Victorian marble top hall stand, cherry stick and ball extension table, 4 tall walnut gothic chairs, highly carved settee, marble top parlor tables, outstanding turn of the century Karpen parlor suite with massive lion carvings, oak sideboard with applied carvings, 3 oak bookcases with leaded glass panel, 19-drawer oak of ce cabinet, set of 10 early 20th century dining chairs, 8-piece Heywood Wake eld dining room suite, Hans Wegner sewing stand, Danish modern walnut dining room suite by France & Daverkosen, Danish modern bench, and many other pieces of nice furniture.

ORIENTAL RUGS: About 60 Persian and other handmade rugs. These include 14x24 Indo Persian Mahal (has cut in center), 8x11 semi-antique Persian Kashan, 8x10 semi-antique Persian Kirman, 9x12 Antique Persian Mahal, 6x9 semi-antique Sarouk, other semi antique Sarouks. Many other room size as well as runners and scatter rugs.

DECORATIVE ARTS: Rare document signed by Paul Revere date 1795. Mills Bell 1930’s slot machine, musical instruments include Wurlitzer saxophone, Besson Trombone, violin, and clarinet. 4 sets of sterling silver atware: 87 pc. International “Prelude”, 51 pc. Gorham “Lascala”, 49 pc. Rogers “Bridal Veil”, and 38 pc. Lunt “Eloquence”, other sterling and silverplate. Rookwood, Roseville, Brush and other art pottery. Large Hummel gurines, Asian pottery, Majolica, Victorian art glass, Tiffany blue and gold aurene, large Anri wood carved Nativity Set. China includes large set Wedgwood “Devon Sprays”, Meissen “Blue Onion”. Victorian hanging and table lamps, Grand Roller Organ with 13” cylinders, gural clocks, large collection of about 50 Steiff animals including early and large animals. Cast iron Tammany and Artillary mechanical banks, still banks, steam engines, 1920’s-1940’s wind-up toys, 1950’s pressed steel toys, and cast iron toys.

FINE ART: Enjoyable selection of artwork including Ohio artists such as Silas Martin oil on board landscape, Alice Schille oil on canvas interior scene, four Leslie Cope paintings and folk artists Grandpa Smoky Brown oil on canvas “Grandpa’s Art Class” and Charles Owens oil on board “Harriet Tubman’s Underground Railroad”. Several early oil watercolor landscapes including John Constable mill scene watercolor, Luigi Chialiva watercolor meadow scene with sheep, and later works such as Geza Kadar oil on canvas “Winter in Nagybamya”, Janos Husovsky oil on canvas “Bluewell in Autumn”, Karoly Kiss oil on canvas “Storm”, two Geza Balla pastels “Horse Team” and “Mother’s Room”, Alice Danciger oil on canvas nude, pair Pail Jacoulet woodblock prints and Alexander Gore oil paintings. Bronze sculptures including Loet Vanderveen elephant, Frederic Remington and James Fraser western themed restrikes including “End of the Trail” and “Rattlesnake”, and Maillard “French Soldier”, life sized carved wooden gures of king and queen.
