EPHEMERA: Early maps dating to 1700, Presidential signed land grants dating from Thomas Jefferson. Early 1900’s show posters, early 1800’s books including first editions and books about Indians. Large album of advertising cards.

STAMPS, COINS AND JEWELRY: Small collections of stamps and coins to be sorted, outstanding collection of beautiful gold and diamond jewelry from prominent Altoona, Pennsylvania home. This lot includes 1.75 ct diamond solitare ring. Many other rings with diamonds and other stones, beautiful diamond bracelets, necklaces and watches. Lots of other jewelry to be sorted.



CLOCKS: 19th century mahogany tall case clock by Joseph Jennens (Skinner Street, Clerkenwell London) 3 weight with 9 chimes. Crystal regulator, column and cornice, figural, long and short drop regulator clocks and other clocks.

DECORATIVE ARTS: Early needlework samplers, Native American pottery, rugs, and baskets, scientific instruments, toys including Steiff animals, Allis Chalmers Ertl and Tru-scale farm toys, cast iron and pressed American Belleek, Nippon, Staffordshire, Imari and early ironstone china. Heisey glass features two early lamps, 9 different deep plate etched cocktails, large Hummel nativity set, art pottery. 3 Singer Featherweight sewing machines, reverse painted lamp, other lighting, coverlets.



FINE ART: James Thurber ink on paper “Marriages are made in Heaven”, Mary Cassatt drypoint, Edgar Schalk oil on board landscape, George Herbert Baker oil on canvas landscape, Thomas Harrison Wilkenson watercolor landscape. Nolan Pennell oil on board. Lots of other good artwork both originals and prints.

bench, grain decorated blanket chests, dry sinks, cobbler’s benches, inlaid hepplewhite sewing table, Empire game table, Acanthus carved tester bed, multi drawer apothecary chest, French Empire marble and gilded china cabinet, Victorian and turn of the century feature two outstanding marble top bedroom suites; one with angel figures and the other high style serpentine front Rococco with 9 foot tall dresser. Small Victorian 2 piece
cupboard, drop center dressers, marble top parlor stands, Victorian and Victorian style parlor furniture, walnut extension dining table, 54” oak S-roll top desk, carved oak chairs, side by side secretary bookcase. Mid Century living room and bedroom furniture. Rustic log dining table, other quality late 20th Century decorator pieces including Hekman and Sherrill.


MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, RECORD PLAYERS, COIN OPERATED PIECES AND RECREATIONAL: Steinway 1880’s square grand piano, Apollo baby grand player piano, Ivers and Pond baby grand piano, trombone, autoharps, guitar, and electric guitar, rare child size Victorola in baby grand piano cabinet, (needs restoration), other Victrolas, Edison cylinder record player with morning glory horn.
