 Troubleshooting for Online Bidding
There are 3 different ways go bid on line with Apple Tree Auction Center. You MUST use the system in which you are or will become a member. You CAN NOT be a member of more than one with the same account information.

1) Using Infinite Bidding by clicking on the on line bidding link on our home page. Once you have become a member of our system you MUST use that system to access our auctions.

2) By being a member of ArtFact.com and using their system to access our auction. If you are a member you MUST use their system to access the auctions. (see tutorial)

3) Using the AuctionZip.com system
to access our auction. If you are a member you MUST use their system to access the auctions. (see tutorial)

Please use the following FAQ's to troubleshoot any problems with bidding online before you contact us.
  • I know I'm registered. Why doesn't it recognize me?
You must log in to the auction system you used to sign up. This could be Auction Zip, Infinite Bidding, or Art Fact. If you are using or have used one of the systems mentioned it is through that system you will log in and be able to bid.   back to top

  • Why can't I see the Bidder Console?
If you experience any technical problems with the Bidder Console follow the troubleshooting steps below:

Step 1: Verify your internet connection Can you get to other websites? Try www.cnn.com If you cannot connect to the internet contact your Internet Service Provider or your Network expert.

The Bidder Console does NOT support: OS: Windows 2000 or earlier, Mac OSX 10.4 or earlier Browsers: Netscape, Opera, AOL Internet Connection: We do not support dialup or wireless Internet

Step 3: Verify Java is ENABLED: If you are using Internet Explorer, go to View or Tools (depending on your version)->Internet Options->Advanced and make sure that "Use JRE 1.6"(or greater) is checked under the Java section.

If you are using Firefox, go to Tools > Options. Click on "Content". Make sure that "Enable Java" and "Enable Java Script" are selected.

Step 4: Clear your browser Cookies and Cache In Internet Explorer, go to Tools->Internet Options->General and click the "Delete Files" button under the "Temporary Internet files" section. Click OK.

In Firefox, go to Tools->Options->Privacy, and then select "Clear" next to History, Cookies, Cache. Click OK.

If you have verified steps 1 through 5 above - and still cannot load the Bidder Console - you may have a Firewall or Security Software conflict preventing the application from loading.
