Shipping Notes
After auction closes, if you win items, you will receive an email and/or text from Shipping Saint to schedule your pick up time or arrange for shipping. Please note that shipping takes approximately 5-7 business days after shipping is arranged. We will ship small non breakable items in the order in which they come through on Shipping Saint. There are certain things we do not ship in house including (but not limited to) larger items, very fragile items, larger orders, china sets, etc. We work directly with Joe at The UPS Store 3910 - New Albany. Any items we can not ship in house will be picked up by him in date of shipping arranged and he will contact you after that to take care of your shipment. BUYER'S PREMIUM: 1. There will be a buyer's premium of 23% for Internet bidders added to the hammer price of each lot and it will be considered part of the total purchase price.
2. All in house/AppleTreeAuction.com purchases are subject to an 18% buyers premium discounted to 13% for cash, check, wire transfer, and ACH.
3. All items purchased in person must be paid for within 24 hours of the day of the auction. All items purchased through absentee and phone bidding will be paid for in the manner described on the Absentee Bid Form. For items purchased through online platforms, it is the buyer's responsibility to contact Apple Tree Auction Center via telephone 740-344-4282 or email at [email protected] to arrange payment. Apple Tree Auction will email an invoice to you within 3 days from the date of the sale. Failure to make payment arrangements within 7 days following the auction will result in a NPB being placed on your account.
4. Acceptable forms of payment - Invoices less than $10,000 may be paid through wire transfer, ACH, cash, personal or company check with proper ID at the discretion of the auction house, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Merchandise will not be released until payment clears. Invoices over $10,000 require wire transfer or ACH.
5. All purchases will be subject to a 7.25% Ohio sales tax unless the purchaser possesses a valid tax-exempt number. Invoices shipped out of state are not subject to Ohio sales tax. Apple Tree Auction must have a blanket exemption certificate with permit number and signature on any tax exempt sale except for out of state internet bidders.
6. If we are prevented by fire, theft, or any other reason whatsoever from delivering any property to the purchaser, our liability shall be limited to the sum actually paid, by the purchaser for such property.
7. If any applicable conditions herein are not complied with by the purchaser, Apple Tree Auction at its option may either (a) cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the purchaser or (b) resell the property at public auction without reserve or minimum selling price, and the purchaser will be liable for any deficiency and costs, including handling charges, expenses of both sales, the commission on both sales at regular rates, all other charges due hereunder and incidental damages.
8. Apple Tree Auction reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time before the auction without liability.

Apple Tree Auction attempts to catalog every lot correctly and will attempt to point out any defects but will not be responsible or liable for the correctness of the catalog or other descriptions of the lot. Jewelry and precious metals are not automatically tested. This includes items that are stamped and hallmarked. Some items have been scanned in the Niton DXL. The readings have been noted, but this IS NOT A GUARANTEE. Personal inspection is always the best way for an individual to make the most informed bidding decisions. Precious stones are not tested or removed from mountings to determine carat. Appraisals are attached for some items. THIS IS ALSO IN NO WAY A GUARANTEE. An appraisal is based on one professional's opinion. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL EXPRESSED AND OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY WITH REGARD TO ANY SALE MADE THROUGH APPLE TREE AUCTION CENTER. By placing a bid, either in person, by phone, absentee or via the Internet, you signify that you have examined the items as fully as you desire to or that you have chosen not to examine them. If you require absolute certainty in all areas of authenticity, and the results of your evaluation leave uncertainty in your mind, we recommend you have an expert examine the lot for you or do not bid on the item in question.
